Most clients who see me leave a session satisfied and become returning clients. But every once in a while you get someone whose mental health is questionable. This client falls into that category. He is from L.A. and has been stalking me for years. My first contact with him was over the phone. He started out by wanting to schedule an appointment and then try and keep me on the phone becoming nasty, dark and insidious. After a few times, I recognized his number and refused to answer his calls. But his calls persisted, feverishly increasing in number. When he called from a different number, I answered but the minute I heard his voice, I refused to speak with him.

On this particular occasion, the call came from a different number and an "assistant" made the appointment for him. The apartment I use in New York is a friend's apartment. It wasn't until half-way through the appointment, when he mentioned that I had not answered all his calls, that I realized who it was. I tried to be nice to him and then, almost as if he recognized his rude behavior, he would apologize; and then in a few moments, would start all over again with the insults and abuse. And that's how the session went ... him going in and out of abusive and obnoxious behavior.

He tried to seduce me with opportunities that obviously weren't real. He bragged about being a wealthy and important person in the entertainment industry, allegedly working with some of the top names in Hollywood, and that he was a sure-fire contact for me, and yet only came to the appointment with partial payment. I politely explained to him that I did not need his help. He threatened that if I did not see him again, or join him in one of his ventures, he would write a bad review of me.

When the scheduled time had ended, he refused to leave. He stayed well worth over his time, but I tried to be nice to him because I didn't want any trouble.

His assistant called me a couple times after, saying he apologizes and that he now was going to A.A. and wanted to see me again, while I could hear him in the background being an asshole. I told his assistant that I accepted his apology but I did not want to see him again. In addition, he still manages to call me from 3 different phones. Well, if I was so bad in his opinion, why would he continue to call and want to schedule another appointment with me? And now, after some time has passed, he's gone and posted his vengeance as a review of me.
